Sill Optics has developed two types of lenses for ion trap experiments: one for "observation purposes" and another for "applications combining laser focusing and observation systems." These lenses can be adapted for high NA and specific wavelengths (from UV to IR). In a vacuum cryostat (ultra-low temperature refrigerator), the dimensions (such as window thickness) vary.
